KC2600: this Friday

This Friday. Oak Park Mall food court in Overland Park, KS. 5:00 PM. As of right now, there are no demonstrations planned, but bring any geeky projects you have been working on, or just hang out and discuss crypto, security, computing, telephony and world domination with us!

Time for another KC2600 meeting! Sept. 4, 5:00pm at the Oak Park Mall food court. Among other things, we'll discuss the Piranha firmware for La Fonera and hacking mobile phones for under-the-radar tethering. Join us!

August 2600 Meeting

Topics covered was strange locks, new and interesting people and high powered computing.

Cog has a home improvement project gone awry.

Ax0n showed off the Wifi-Fon of doom. (global thermonuclear wardraving any one?)

Asmo talked briefly about a public service project for CCCKC.

All in all a very good meeting.

July 2009 Meeting

The Overland Park 2600 will meet at Oak Park Mall on July 3rd from between 5pm until 7pm?. Discussion topics will include explosives (for July 4th). As well as a plethora of other topics. Stop by and check us out!

Independence MO meeting notes

I checked the Independence Center mall which was one of the known past 2600 venues. I can see why they didn't want to meet there, they have some strict rules on conduct and a local police station in the mall to enforce it.

Next, I went to the Barnes and Nobel which was published on the 2600 website.
I met up with Frogman and one of the other members of the Overland Park meeting.
Nobody was there...

So unless some one wants to drop me a line, I will ask Ax0n to send a note and have Independence taken off the list during our next email to 2600.

June 2600 meeting

Its June!

The Overland Park Kansas meeting will be held between 5pm to 7pm at Oak Park Mall off of 95th street and Quivira.

The Independence, MO meeting has yet to contact me with any meeting updates so I must assume that they are still meeting at (edit) the independence Barnes and noble. If some one is still active at the Independence 2600 please let me know.
